Adar Gandelsman

 Adar Gandelsman, Hebrew: Adr Gndlsmn, was born 5/12/97. She is an Israeli model and beauty contest title holder. She was Miss Israel 2017's first runner-up. She was named Miss Universe Israel 2017 and was part of the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar was not a finalist in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant held in Las Vegas. Gandelsman snapped a picture during the pageant alongside Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Idan. Idan and her family left Iraq in December of 2017 after she took a photo with Miss Israel. Miss Israel was also in the Israel Defense Forces at that time. Gandelsman, who is Ashkenazi Jewish and immigrated from Brazil in 1992, snapped the picture. Her initial name, Adar, is a Hebrew calendar month.
